Old Wellingburians

Julian N R Amey (57-67, G) - OW Club President 2019 - 2020

Welcome to the OW Club pages, and an especially warm welcome to all former members of the School.

The Old Wellingburian Club, formed in 1897, has an active body of supporters who are just as passionate about the School’s future as they are about its past. It provides a great opportunity to all former pupils, not only to enjoy a continuing and supportive relationship with the School, but also to keep in touch with friends and to meet and network with other OWs of all age groups.

An on-going challenge for the OW Club is to keep track of the whereabouts of its members and past Club President, David Clifton certainly worked very hard in this area to help improve and maintain the Club's and School's contact with OWs.  The LinkedIn page "Wellingborough School - Old Wellingburian Network", set up by David is thriving and currently there are over 700 members!  If you are not already a member, please do visit the page and ask to join.

Last but not least, if you haven't heard from the Club for a while, it's probably because they do not have an up to date email address for you, so do please contact Debbie Whittemore, OW Liaison at with your latest details.

That's all from me now, but I hope to see as many of you as possible at the London Dinner in March 2020 (Friday, 20th) - Venue, The House of Lords.

NB School leavers progress seamlessly into the OW Club, a lifetime subscription having been taken from fees paid during their time in the Senior School, unless a decision was taken to opt out of such a payment scheme. Wellingburians, who are not members of the Club and who would now like to join, should visit the Contact Us page within this section for advice.
