We are absolutely thrilled to celebrate the outstanding achievements of three of our Year 12 students who recently took part in the prestigious UKMT Mathematical Competition for Girls (MCG).
This highly challenging 90-minute national competition attracts over 8,000 talented young female mathematicians from across the UK. Participants are required to apply advanced problem-solving skills, logical reasoning, creativity and resilience to tackle a series of demanding mathematical challenges.
Congratulations to Charlotte and Tabitha on achieving Merit Awards and to Freya on earning a coveted Distinction Award. Achieving a Merit or Distinction in such a demanding competition is a remarkable accomplishment and reflects the girls’ outstanding mathematical ability.
Congratulations to all of the girls for representing Wellingborough School so brilliantly. We are incredibly proud of their success.
