Our A Level Geography students enjoyed a wonderful day exploring the North Norfolk coast, investigating coastal landforms and management in action. From walking between Wells and Holkham to study sand dune formation, to examining the cliffs and coastal defences between Old and New Hunstanton, the trip brought classroom learning to life.
A particular highlight was the boat trip to Blakeney Point, where students saw the famous spit up close, alongside seals basking on the shoreline and swimming around the boat. The glorious sunshine, ice cream and fish and chips certainly helped make the day memorable, but the award for biggest celebrity goes to Skye the golden retriever, who quickly became everyone’s favourite companion!
A fantastic day of fieldwork, fresh air and first-hand geographical discovery.
