Pupils develop notably strong self-understanding and self-belief from an early stage, meeting the schools' stated aim to encourage pupils to discover their potential and to decide who they want to be. This is because of the focus given to encouraging self-confidence by the schools' leadership and the support provided by committed staff.

Join us for our Summer Whole School Open Day on Friday, 19th June, from 10.15am to 12.30pm. This is a wonderful opportunity to experience the vibrant life of the school in action, meet our pupils and staff, and explore our facilities.
Visitors will gain a genuine insight into our warm and purposeful environment, where academic ambition is balanced with a strong focus on wellbeing and personal development. Whether you are considering entry for your child or simply wish to learn more about what we offer, we look forward to welcoming you and sharing what makes our community so distinctive.
Nursery and Reception - Stay and Play Sessions
Our Stay and Play sessions are for Nursery and Reception-aged children (aged 2+) and their parent or guardian. Join us for fun and engaging activities designed to spark curiosity and creativity, while you experience our warm and nurturing Early Years environment. Meet our dedicated team and explore how Wellingborough School provides the ideal start to your child’s learning journey.
Mini Scientists – Monday 11th May 1:30-2:30pm
Become a mini scientist and excavate Ice, experiment with a bubble wand, or explore magnetism.
Trail and Tales – Outdoor learning – Thursday 11th June 9.30-10.30am
In our Outdoor Learning Zone or Nursery if it’s wet, we are hunting for mini beasts, going on a dinosaur and number hunt, and listening to the Superworm story.
Private tours
Private tours are available throughout the year during term time.
You are invited to visit the school for a private tour and meet with either our Headmaster or Head of Prep, one of our Prefects will show you around our site and share their knowledge of the school.
