Whole School Open Day |
Friday 16th October
10.15am to 12.45pm
Join us for our Whole School Open Day on Friday, 16th October. Visitors will gain a genuine insight into our warm and purposeful environment, where academic ambition is balanced with a strong focus on wellbeing and personal development.
You will have the opportunity to tour our facilities and see the School in action. The morning will conclude with an informal lunch, providing the perfect opportunity to speak with staff, ask questions and learn more about the opportunities available across the School.

Sixth Form Options Evening | Thursday 19th November
6-8pm
Join us for our Sixth Form Options Evening on Thursday, 19th November. Where you will be able to explore the wide range of A-Level and Vocational options available in our Sixth Form and gain a deeper understanding of post-16 study at Wellingborough School.
Visitors will have the chance to meet Heads of Department and subject teachers, discuss course content in detail, and receive personalised guidance on subject choices and future pathways from our academic leadership team.
Booking is only required for pupils who do not currently attend Wellingborough School.

Stay and Play Sessions
Our Stay and Play sessions are for Nursery and Reception-aged children (aged 2+) and their parent or guardian. Join us for fun and engaging activities designed to spark curiosity and creativity, while you experience our warm and nurturing Early Years environment. Meet our dedicated team and explore how Wellingborough School provides the ideal start to your child’s learning journey.

Maths in the Wider World | Community Lectures | Thursday 15th October 6pm
We will be hosting a series of lectures over the course of the year covering a wide array of topics. The intention is to relate school subjects to a wider range of contexts and specialities not typically explored in the curriculum or to provide greater depth to subjects which are taught.
These lectures are open to students from all schools in the local area and specifically aimed at students from Years 9-11 and their parents/guardians. We ask that all pupils are accompanied by a parent/guardian. Visiting school staff are, of course, also most welcome, as are members of the public. The lectures will be delivered by staff from Wellingborough School and, where appropriate, additional guest speakers. There is no charge for these lectures, and simple refreshments will be available on the night at a nominal cost.
The inaugural lecture will be “Maths in the Wider World” on Thursday 15th October starting at 18:00. This lecture will include, amongst other areas, Maths & Infectious Diseases and Maths & Music.

Pupils develop notably strong self-understanding and self-belief from an early stage, meeting the schools' stated aim to encourage pupils to discover their potential and to decide who they want to be. Private tours
Private tours are available throughout the year during term time.
You are invited to visit the school for a private tour and meet with either our Headmaster or Head of Prep, one of our Prefects will show you around our site and share their knowledge of the school.
