Agatha Christie’s ‘And Then There Were None’

The Sixth Form Play

On Tuesday, our Sixth Formers took to the stage for their performance of Agatha Christie’s ‘And Then There Were None’. The students selected the play themselves and were instantly captivated by its gripping mystery, set on a remote island off the Devon coast, which sparked their imaginations from the very start.

“As always, the success is down to the enthusiasm, hard work and sheer determination of all the students, those in the cast and crew. However, I must thank Lily C for her excellent organisation and support with directing; Opulence A for his enthusiasm and marketing; Jamie S for his hard work; and Lucy J for her diligence in supporting all rehearsals and technical support.” – Rebecca Lamberton, Head of Drama

A special mention must also go to Mrs Johnson for her excellent co-directing and technical lighting support, Mr Hutchinson for his patience and support with the sound technicalities, Miss Cooper for her co-directing and general support, and Mr Scott for finding solutions in the background.

Finally, a thank you to the parents, friends and family members who have supported with line learning, lifts to rehearsals and just being there for the cast and crew when they needed it. And, of course, for coming to watch the show!

‘’Assistant directing and acting in And Then There Were None has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my school life. I’ve learnt so many valuable lessons and had so much fun in the process, and I hope the audience enjoys it as much as I did creating it.’’ – Lily C, Drama Scholar

“A genuinely fun and exciting opportunity to create a performance worthy of Agatha Christie’s thrilling murder mystery. A privilege to be a part of.” – Opulence A, Drama Scholar
