As part of their IPC topic ‘What’s on the Menu’, Year 4 looked at the impact of food waste on the world. They designed posters to persuade people to waste less food, which Kirstie, the catering manager, then judged. She was so impressed with the children’s efforts that she rewarded them all with cookies and squash.
Well done in particular to the winners. Florence and Archie, and runners-up Emily, Max, Frankie and Zain. The posters are now proudly displayed behind the clearing stations in the dining hall.
