My school years were spent as a boarder at Dauntsey’s in Wiltshire, enjoying the benefits of an excellent co-curricular programme and completing A levels in Maths, Physics, and DT.
This course of study took me to Brunel University to study Industrial Design, and by the time my degree was complete a career in education was already calling. I subsequently spent twelve years at Brighton College, teaching DT and Maths, with responsibilities as Head of Department and as Housemaster of Durnford, a boy’s day house.
My next role was as Deputy Head Co-Curricular and then First Deputy (Staff & Operations) at Headington School in Oxford. Along the way I have enjoyed coaching sports teams, leading enrichment trips, and running clubs and societies.
