Year 8 Creative Careers Visit to Harry Potter Studios

On Tuesday, our Year 8 pupils enjoyed a fantastic trip to the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London. They stepped behind the scenes of the Harry Potter films and discovered the creativity that brings the wizarding world to life.

As well as exploring the studios, pupils attended a Creature Design Workshop linked to their current Fantastic Creatures art project. They learned about the many creative careers involved in filmmaking, from designers and artists to special effects experts and model makers.

There was plenty to inspire them throughout the day, with highlights including the impressive dragon at Gringotts, the collection of goblin and dwarf prosthetic heads and, of course, trying the famous Butterbeer. It was a memorable day that supported their classroom learning and gave them a fascinating insight into the world of film and creative industries.
