On Monday, pupils from across Wellingborough School came together for our annual Whole School Sports Day.
In the Prep School, children from Nursery through to Year 6 participated in a wide range of events, giving their all as they competed for valuable points for their clubs. It was wonderful to see such enthusiasm and determination from pupils of all ages. After an exciting day of competition, Wolves Club emerged victorious, taking home this year’s Club Trophy.
The Senior School competition was equally impressive, with pupils demonstrating outstanding athletic ability and commitment throughout the day. Following a series of closely contested events, Weymouth and Platt’s were crowned winners of the House Competition.
The day also saw a remarkable individual achievement. Year 9 pupil Reke broke the Year 9 high jump record with an outstanding leap of 1.52m, surpassing a record that had stood since 2009.
A huge thank you to all the staff who helped organise and run the event, and congratulations to every pupil who took part.
